Edward Milton Morton, 74

Morrison resident and Warren County native Edward Milton Morton, 74, was born August 21, 1950 and died June 27, 2025 at his residence following a brief illness.

A former employee of Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Edward Munsford Morton and Martha Susan Lance Morton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Edward Lee Morton and siblings, Bobby Morton, Catherine Dunn and William Morton.

He was married to Novella Morton of Morrison. In addition to his wife, Mr. Morton is survived by son, Michael Morton of McMinnville; daughter, Rebekah (Corey) Mooneyham of McMinnville; granddaughters, Ashley and Allie Mooneyham and Sarah and Knox Morton, all of McMinnville; brothers, John Hutchins of Chattanooga, Carl Morton of San Diego, CA and Mike Morton of McMinnville; sisters, Margie Anderson and Ann Davis, both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Per Mr. Morton’s wishes, he will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Gentiva Hospice for all their comfort and care, especially Emily Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McMinnville Special Games.
