I’m Derrick Hutchings, and I’m running for re-election as County Commissioner in District 6 of White County, Tennessee. As your current commissioner and Chairman of the County Commission, I’m a dedicated conservative committed to strong traditional values, keeping our families safe, and ensuring our neighborhoods and rural way of life continue to thrive. Born and raised right here in White County, I’m a proud graduate of White County High School (Class of 1998). This community gave me so much, and now I want to give back—drawing on my deep roots to help ensure White County remains a great place for generations to come.

My wife of 27 years, Kristi, is an accomplished Cowboy Mounted Shooting competitor just like me, and together we raise and compete in the sport with our American Quarter Horses. We love sharing the arena and competing together.

Our rural lifestyle in District 6 gives us the ability to welcome many loving pets and farm animals into our home. They’re a big part of our everyday life and reflect our deep commitment to self-sufficiency and the hardworking farm values we hold dear. Guided by conservative principles, I believe in limited government that respects individual freedoms, personal responsibility, and fiscal restraint. I prioritize public safety, sound budgeting, and policies that support hardworking families and a prosperous community—without unnecessary overreach. I’m committed to protecting our rights, upholding law and order, and making sure White County stays a safe, successful place to live, work, and raise the next generation.

I’m asking for your vote to continue serving as your common-sense, values-driven voice on the White County Commission in District 6. Thank you for your support—Derrick Hutchings.
