The Warren County A&L Fair begins tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 5) and runs through Saturday, Sept. 13. If you feel like the town shuts down for the fair, you wouldn't be totally wrong. Due to the crowds the fair draws, many businesses choose to take the week for some well-deserved time off.

The Main Street Journal put out a call for businesses to share their fair schedules, and here is the information we compiled:

  • J's Restaurant in Three Star Mall will close Friday, Sept. 5 at 3 p.m. and will reopen Sept. 15
  • Three Star Cinema will be closed Sept. 8-15
  • Custom Vinyl Signs and Shirts will be closed Sept. 8-12
  • Cookies By Brax's downtown location will be closed during Fair Week but will have a booth at the fair near the petting zoo.
  • Depot Bottom Country Store will be closed on Fair Day, Friday, Sept. 12.
  • Pioneer Lanes will be closed Sept. 5-15.
  • McBride Bookkeeping & Tax Prep will be closed Sept. 5-14.
  • Tammy's Little Tikes and Sug's Sandbox will be closed on Fair Day, Friday, Sept. 12.
  • Begonias Restaurant will have pizza takeout orders only Tuesday-Thursday from 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday will be regular hours.
  • Hot Wheels Skate Center LLC will be closed Sept. 5-14.
  • Magness Library will be closed Sept. 12-13.
