Main Street Media, Ben Lomand Connect and 91.3 WCPI Public Radio will bring candidates and voters together one more time this election year with the final political forum of 2026 set for Monday, Oct. 12.
The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Administrative Building and will feature local, federal, and gubernatorial races.
The Oct. 12 event will cap a year of political forums presented by the three local media organizations throughout the 2026 election cycle. The forums have provided candidates an opportunity to address voters directly while giving the public another way to learn about the people seeking office and the issues surrounding this year’s elections.
Those unable to attend in person will have several ways to follow the forum. The event will be carried live on Ben Lomand Television (BLTV) Channel 6 and streamed online through Main Street Media’s YouTube page and the Main Street Journal Facebook page.
With the final forum approaching, Main Street Media is also offering businesses an opportunity to be part of the remainder of its 2026 election coverage.
Businesses can sponsor the Oct. 12 forum as a single event, but a multi-event sponsorship package is also available that combines the final Political Forum with Election Night coverage.
The package gives sponsors exposure during two of the biggest remaining moments of the 2026 election cycle — first as candidates take part in the Oct. 12 forum and again as results come in on Election Night.
Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to take advantage of the combined sponsorship rather than limiting their presence to a single event. Special package opportunities are available for businesses that want to be represented during both broadcasts.
For the best deal on a Political Forum and Election Night sponsorship package, contact the Main Street Media sales team. They can provide sponsorship options and put together a package for businesses interested in being part of both events.
