Fog House Firearms celebrates 10 years

A decade in business is worth celebrating and that's just what Josh West and his team at Fog House Firearms will do Friday, July 3.

In observance of Fog House's 10th anniversary, a one-day-only 10th anniversary sale will be held Friday at 1328 Smithville Hwy. in McMinnville behind McDonald's. All in-stock and special-order firearms will be 10% off. The sale includes factory and special-order firearms only and does not apply to consignment guns and layaways.

"I definitely appreciate the community," West said. "We wouldn't be in business without the support of our people. We love helping everybody get what they want. Not everyone needs this kind of thing but the ones that do, we welcome them with open arms."

Fog House Firearms owes its origin to a perceived void in the Warren County business community that West thought he could step up to fill.

"We started this company as a service for the community," West said. "There was no place around with regular hours where people could buy a gun online and have it shipped to the store. The business has grown from a place where people could pick up online orders to a place where they can come in and order whatever they want. We love our community. We're happy we've made it this far and we're looking forward to the future.
