What began as a small produce operation at local farmers markets has quickly grown into a thriving community farm stand serving customers across five counties.
Tabitha and Jason Greene, owners of Hickory Valley Farm Stand located at 4137 Hickory Valley Road in Sparta, officially opened their roadside stand in 2025 after first beginning to sell produce in 2023 at the Farmers Market, Green Market, Liberty Square celebrations, and other local events. The couple said they noticed there were not many farm stands in the area at the time and wanted to help fill that need within the community.
