Handmade Meets Main Street

What started as a small online business run from home is about to become one of downtown Sparta’s newest storefronts, but the opening of Georgia Dawn’s is about more than another place to shop. Behind the boutique’s carefully curated shelves is a years-long dream, a growing network of local makers and a vision owner Emma Hayes believes fills a gap she has seen in the community for years.

Owned by Emma and Garrett Hayes, Georgia Dawn’s is located at 25 N. Main St. and will officially open to the public on May 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before the grand opening, the business will host a ribbon cutting and soft opening on Friday, May 15 at noon.
