McMinnville resident and Warren County native Judith Anne Melton, 83, was born August 5, 1942 and died August 15, 2025 at her residence in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A retired hospitality service with Raintree Manor, she was the daughter of the late Toy and Faye Denton Tolbert. She was married to Hugh B. Melton who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Tolbert; sisters, Barbara Brady and Deborah Evans and nephew, Billy Brady.

Mrs. Melton is survived by son, Michael (Vicky) Melton of Woodbury; daughter, Lisa West of McMinnville; grandchildren, Abby Anderson and Chelsea Epps of McMinnville and Bryson and Adam Anderson; brother, Larry (Linda) Tolbert of McMinnville; sisters, Barbara Jo Brady, Deborah Evans and Vicky Griffith of McMinnville; cousin, Hazel Marie Owens Ford of McMinnville and special friends, Darlene Minton and Troy Farless of McMinnville.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Melton Cemetery in Cannon County. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 7 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
