Look Rock Island resident and Warren County native Larry David Miller, 76, was born January 7, 1949 and died December 27, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.

A United States Army veteran of Vietnam, truck driver with Patton Welding and retired co-owner of Middle Tennessee Nursery Center, he was a member of Friendship The Baptist Church.  Mr. Miller was the son of the late Bertle and Lena Mae Rutledge Miller.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Miller and two sisters, Betty Patton and Diana George.

Larry was married to Rebecca Ann Gannon Miller of Rock Island.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, David Miller of McMinnville and Terri Bryan of Rock Island;  four grandchildren, Logan (Gretchen) Miller, Cameron (Grace) Miller, Savannah (Clay) Prater and Hadassah Bryan;  two great-grandchildren, Luke and Will Miller;  sister, Brenda Mitchell of Sparta;  sister-in-law, Delores Miller of Rock Island and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove and Jason Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's. Full military honors will be administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
