Leonard Edward Murray, 80

McMinnville resident and Detroit, Mich. native Leonard Edward Murray, 80, was born May 11, 1945 and died Dec. 20, 2025 at Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A retired employee of Murfreesboro Police Department, bondsman with Jail Break Bail Bonds and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, Mr. Murray was the son the late Mary Elizabeth Harman.

He is survived by children, Leonard Edward (Tonya) Murray of Dunlap, Terry Allen (Ellen) Murray of McMinnville and Christina Joy (Phillip) Weaver of Morrison and grandchild, Ty Murray.

Per Mr. Murray’s wishes, he will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
