McMinnville resident and Warren County native Louise Tindell, 82, was born Feb. 11, 1944 and died July 18, 2026 at Manchester Center for Rehabilitation following a sudden illness.
A former nurse aide with Warren County General Hospital and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lillard and Margie Lee Stroud Muncey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, James Curtis Sims; brother, Dillard Buck Muncey and sister, Treva Lee McCormick.
Mrs. Tindell is survived by her husband, Paul Howard Tindell of McMinnville; son, Thomas Wade Sims of McMinnville; daughters, Vicki Lynn Sims and Victoria Rose (Elijah) Fults, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jerrod Curtis Sims of Smithville, Thomas Jacob Sims of Smithville, Candas (Donald Gene Muncey) Campbell of McMinnville and Amber Nicole Sims of McMinnville; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Lawrence, Martha Cathey and Rhonda Parsley, all of McMinnville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and interment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in White County with Jason Coffelt officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon at High's.
