If Tamagotchis, troll dolls, dial-up internet and Blockbuster Video mean something to you, Main Street Live on Friday night is the place to be. Main Street McMinnville’s free summer concert series held at Security Federal’s west lawn will turn its focus to the last decade of the 20th century as Saved by the Music: The Ultimate ’90s Experience takes the stage.
Saved by the Music performs hits from Third Eye Blind, Counting Crows, Bush, Silverchair, Deep Blue Something, Dishwalla, Hootie & the Blowfish and more in a high-energy tribute to the music that defined the era. The show is sure to spark memories and is highly anticipated by many Main Street McMinnville organizers.
“We’ve been looking forward to this week all summer, because it’s the first time we’re bringing a ’90s tribute band to Main Street Live,” Main Street McMinnville Executive Director Jennifer Flatt Meredith said. “If you’re a ’90s kid at heart like me, get ready to sing your heart out and relive the best decade ever.”
The show starts at 7 p.m. and vendors open at 6 p.m. In case of rain, the Park Theater will serve as a backup location.
Main Street Live is presented by Main Street McMinnville and is sponsored by Main Street Media, Security Federal Savings Bank, Main Street McMinnville, Bridgestone, McMinnville Electric System, Scooter's Coffee, Dr Pepper, Ben Lomand Connect, Law Offices of Galligan & Newman, Warren County, City of McMinnville, The Cafe at Tree City, The Butcher and Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District.
