A man accused of stealing checks from a White County resident and cashing them in several Upper Cumberland communities had his case continued Tuesday in White County General Sessions Court.
The charges stem from an Aug. 10 complaint in which police were told checks had been taken from a man who was living in a nursing home and cashed after someone signed his name to them.
