McMinnville resident and native Mark Aaron Turner, 51, was born Sept. 17, 1974 and died Feb. 13, 2026 following a sudden illness.
A self-employed caretaker and of the Christian faith, he was the son of Mike (Phyllis) Turner of McMinnville and the late Marilyn Reider Turner. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Charles and Lucille Turner; uncle, Steve Turner and aunt, Sheryl Turner Kirby.
In addition to his father and step-mother, Mr. Turner is survived by step-brother, Bill (Amy) Bates of McMinnville; cousins, Kris (Kristy) Kirby, Chelsea (Dave) Thomas and Courtney (Jordan) Holmes, all of Murfreesboro.
Per his wishes, Mr. Turner will be cremated. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
Mark was always available for anyone who needed him; first helping with his uncle Steve, then spending most of his adult life providing loving care for his grandmother Lucille. During his seldom free time, he loved fishing and hiking or just enjoying nature.
Mark will be greatly missed by his family, neighbors and friends.
