Motlow State Community College honors Mason Simmons as Student of Distinction

Motlow State Community College in Sparta proudly recognizes Mason Simmons as this month’s Student of Distinction, an honor celebrating outstanding academic achievement and dedication to the community. The college extends its sincere appreciation to Citizen’s Bank for its continued sponsorship of the Student of Distinction program.

Simmons, an Aerospace Engineering major at Motlow State, is also a Dual Enrollment student from White County High School. Through his commitment to academic excellence and active engagement in his community, he has demonstrated the qualities that the Student of Distinction program seeks to highlight.

Simmons was nominated by his Psychology professor, Dr. Natalie Whorton, who recognized his strong work ethic, academic accomplishments, and positive impact both in and out of the classroom.

Motlow State Community College congratulates Mason Simmons on this well-deserved recognition and thanks Citizen’s Bank for its generous support in helping celebrate the achievements of outstanding students.
