McMinnville resident and Warren County native, MSgt. Clarence Dalton Medley, U.S. Air Force, Retired, 82, was born April 13, 1944 and died July 2, 2026 in his nephews home, surrounded by family, after an extended illness,
A retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force, a Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Noah and Mary Lou Scott Medley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Velva Lee Forsythe; brothers, Charles Branford Medley, Royce Bentley Medley, William Avery Medley, Horace Ellen Medley, George Leaton Medley and Lonnie Medley.
MSgt. Medley is survived by nieces and nephews, Jill (Herbert) Basham, Diane Medley, Chuck (Mattie) Medley, William (Sarah) Medley & Noah (Brooke) Medley; special nieces and nephews, Kayla (Chris) Miller, Josh (Magen) Medley, Austin (Haley) Medley, Levi, Jordyn, Kamden, Jaxton, Reagan, Rhett, Remie, Asher, Tucker, Ali, Judson, Kambree and two great-nieces on the way, Kaisley and Kelbi; Michael (Amanda) Black, Jenna Black, Jane (Kreed) Curtis, Ethan Basham and Layne (Chad) Mullins.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2026 in High's Chapel with Trent Key officiating. Burial will follow in Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
