Heads up Sparta, there’s a new way to relax in town

A new service is quietly making its way into Sparta — and it’s one you won’t find in many places around here. Inside 19th and Gracey, a treatment rooted in Japanese wellness practices is now being offered, bringing a different kind of relaxation experience to the local salon scene.

The staff at 19th and Gracey recently welcomed Jana Crews to the team as their new head spa specialist. Crews officially joined the salon on March 9, 2026, adding a unique service to a business that has been a staple in the community since owner Leslie Hutchings opened its doors in 2011.
