On Fire Concerts cancels remainder of 2026 shows

Wednesday morning brought some disappointing news to those looking forward to scheduled concerts by Collin Raye, Sammy Kershaw and The Artemis Pyle Band.

On Fire Concerts, the promoter of the three shows scheduled for Oct. 30, Nov. 12 and Dec. 17 respectively, announced the remainder of its 2026 shows planned for the Park Theater have been canceled.

While Park Theater management books many shows itself, the theater is also available for renters who look to produce their own shows in the historic venue. On Fire Concerts, now in its 20th year, has for several years been one of the most prolific renters of the facility.

In a statement to the Main Street Journal Wednesday morning, On Fire Concerts owner Ron Johnson announced the cancellations, what they mean for ticket holders and what the future holds for the promotion.

"On Fire Concerts regrets to announce the cancellation of its remaining scheduled concerts for 2026 due to a combination of circumstances," Johnson said. "We understand the disappointment this news brings and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to our ticket holders and supporters.

"All ticket holders have been notified by email.  Anyone with questions is welcome to reply directly to the email they received. Refunds are being submitted for processing, and we expect that process to be completed soon. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through these arrangements.

"Looking ahead, On Fire Concerts plans to reorganize and return stronger than ever in 2027. We are deeply grateful for the support McMinnville has shown us over the past several years for our shows at the Park Theater, and we appreciate the great working relationship we have been blessed to have with the Park Theater and its great staff. 

"Thank you for welcoming our shows, supporting live music, and being such an important part of our journey. We look forward to returning to McMinnville in 2027 and seeing everyone again."
