Sandra Jean Griffith, 87

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Sandra Jean Griffith, 87, was born February 12, 1939 and died March 12, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Alva Noel and Wava Lou Webb Sanders. She was married to Billy Roy Griffith on January 5, 1967 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Hugh "Bud" Sanders, Russell Sanders and Ralph Sanders; sisters, Audrey Carothers, Edla Davis, Doris Perkins, Faye Clendenon and Patricia Maloney and son-in-law, Jon Wells.

Mrs. Griffith is survived by children, Chandra Griffith and Dana (Chris Smith) Griffith, both of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver, Rhett Pedigo and all of her friends and family at Oak Grove Church of Christ for all of their acts of kindness and support.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Jonathan Stubblefield officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon until time of service at High’s.
