Among the items on the agenda is a proposed health insurance premium plan for 2027. Information included in the board packet lays out a new district funding formula for employee health coverage, with the district’s contribution varying based on the type of coverage selected. Depending on the plan, some employee premiums would be reduced under the proposed formula.

The board will also consider a revision to the master’s-level pay scale. The proposal would add $1,625 to the master’s pay scale, with packet information estimating an annual budget increase of approximately $114,670.

Also up for consideration is participation in the 2026-27 TN Together Student Survey, an anonymous survey for students in grades 8, 10, and 12 addressing substance use, emotional wellness, and other risk behaviors. Parent permission is required for students to participate.

The board is also scheduled to review its annual TISA Accountability Report and revisit two old-business items: attendance of non-resident students and historical foundational documents. October 2026 BOE Agenda
