Serve M25, formerly known as Matthew 25 Ministries, will host its annual fundraising and awareness event, A Night in Their Shoes, this Friday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at Three Rivers Baptist Church.

The interactive evening is designed to help attendees experience the realities faced by individuals and families struggling with poverty and homelessness in Warren County. Guests will take part in an informative walk-through presentation that sheds light on the challenges many local residents face daily — and the ways Serve M25 works to meet those needs through community partnerships and volunteer efforts.

The event will also feature a silent auction, along with complimentary coffee and cobbler. Organizers say it’s an opportunity for both individuals and businesses to learn how they can get involved in practical, meaningful ways.

Serve M25, a nonprofit rooted in Christian outreach, provides direct assistance and advocacy for those in crisis situations, offering support with food, housing, and essential resources. Donations from A Night in Their Shoes will help sustain these efforts throughout the coming year.

Three Rivers is located at 461 Friendship Drive in Rock Island. The event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
