
McMinnville resident and Huntsville, Ala. native Shirley Mae Talley Ware, 87, was born October 26, 1937 and died October 8, 2025 at her residence following a sudden illness.
The former owner of Amplified Audio and member of Oasis Church, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Thelma Taylor Talley. She was married to J.C. Ware in October of 1961 who preceded her in death on March 27, 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by step-daughter, Cathy Ware Talley; granddaughter, Courtney Beaty and siblings, Jack Talley, Charles Talley, Wayne Talley, Brenda Wanamaker and Peggy Verplank.
Mrs. Ware is survived by daughter, Jackie Ware of McMinnville; sons, Kenneth Ware, John Ross, Joe Ross and Kelly Ross, all of McMinnville; step-daughters, Sandra Ware Burger of McMinnville; grandchildren, Heather Ross, John Wesley Ross, Luke Ross, Crystal Ross, Joseph Ross, Hunter Ware, Alex Ware and Camden Ware and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Faulkner Cemetery at Pike Hill in Warren County with Steve Breedlove officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at High’s.
