This week:   

• Monday, February 16, President’s Day – All White County Courthouse offices closed.  
• Monday, February 16, President's Day – White County Schools are CLOSED. 
• Monday, February 16, President's Day – Sparta/White County Activity Center Closed. 
• Tuesday, February 17 – Movie Day with Sparta White County Activity Center. Members who would like a ride to AMC Highland 12 need to be at the center before the van leaves 12:15. $14 entry will include ticket, popcorn, and a small drink. 
• Tuesday, February 17, 6pm – White County Board of Commissioners regular call meeting. Third floor courtroom of the White County Courthouse. 
• Thursday, February 19, 12noon – Rotary Club of Sparta luncheon with special guest Phil Oldham, president of TTU 
• Thursday, February 19, 5pm – City of Sparta’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting. Second floor courtroom at Sparta City Hall. 
• Friday, February 20, 6:30pm – 9:30pm – Sparta Activity Center Dance with Kool Water Band, 321 E. Bronson Street. Admission $7. 
• Saturday, February 21, 11am - 1pm - Seeds of Hope Open House. Tour the facility, meet the board, and see how your support helps neighbors transition out of homelessness. Seeds of Hope Homeless Shelter, 239 King Street, Sparta.

• Friday, Feb. 27, 6pm – Meet and Greet with County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson at Northfield Vineyards, 515 Ray Cemetery Road, Sparta.   
• Friday, Feb. 27 – Last day to sign up for White County Youth Baseball and Softball  
• Saturday, Feb. 28, 9am - 11:30 - E STEAM Workshop, "Curious Critters" at White County Public Library. This is a FREE White County Early STEAM program for children from birth to 3 years.
• March 1 – April 15 – Warrior Youth Football and Cheer Sign-ups  
• Friday, March 6 – Grief Support Group at Sparta White County Activity Center. For more information, call (931) 836-3663. 
• Saturday, March 7, 11am - 1pm - White County Fair's Champion of Champions celebration at the White County Fair Ag Building, 235 Fairground Lane. The community is invited to celebrate with the Fair Board. Grazing table and refreshments will be available. 
• Thursday, March 12, 7:30am – The Morning Brew at Sparta YMCA for White County Chamber of Commerce members. 
• Thursday, March 19, 4pm – 6pm – Q & A: Fact versus Fiction with County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson at Duck Pond Manor, 665 Duck Pond Road, Sparta. 
• Saturday, March 21 – Princess Party hosted by White County High School Cheerleaders. Tickets are available now and sell out quickly. Tickets can be purchased from any WCHS Cheerleader.   
• Saturday, March 21, 12noon – 2pm – Meet & Greet with Kyle Goff for White County Executive at Vinson Farms Weeding Venue, 2927 Will Thompson Road in Walling. 
• Thursday, April 9, 4pm – 6pm – Ice Cream Social and Meet & Greet with County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson at the Sparta Activity Center, 321 E. Bronson Street, Sparta. 
• Every MONDAY until April 15 – Free In-Person Tax Preparation Service at Sparta/White County Activity Center. Call to make an appointment: 888-227-7669
