• Tuesday, July 14, 4pm – 5pm – Junior Outdoor Explorers hosted by Scotts Gulf Wilderness State Park at the White County Public Library. This month’s featured topic is Clean Waters. 
• Tuesday, July 15, 5:30pm – Women in the Wilderness hosted by Scotts Gulf Wilderness State Park at the White County Chamber of Commerce. This month’s featured topic is Caving. Registration through the Scott’s Gulf website is required. 
• Thursday, July 16, 10am – 1pm – 4-H Fishing Day Camp at a local pond in Doyle, contact Kelly at (931) 836-3348 for more information. 
• Thursday, July 16, 7:30pm – WCPL Summer Reading Finale with a Free viewing of Jurassic Park at the Sparta Drive-In 
• Friday, July 17 – Early Voting for the August 6 County/City General Elections and the State/Federal Primary Elections begins. Registered voters can vote over the next two weeks at the White County Election Commission office in the White County Courthouse on Liberty Square. 
• Friday, July 17, 4:30 – 6:30pm – Young Professionals Networking Event at Happy Trails Brewery 
• Saturday, July 18, 10am - Poker Run benefiting POPS, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping the White County Animal Shelter and the animals in our community. Starts and ends at 1938 Social on Bockman Way in downtown Sparta. 
• Saturday, July 18, 12noon – 2pm – Meet and Greet with White County Executive candidate Kyle Goff at Vinson Farms 
• Saturday, July 18, 12pm – 6pm – BDC Volunteer Fire Department Community Day
