• Monday, September 7 - LABOR DAY - All city, county, state, and federal offices are CLOSED
• Wednesday, September 9, 8am – Coffee with Firefighters at the Sparta Chamber of Commerce 
• Thursday, September 10, 6pm – White County School Board meeting at Central Office, 576 Hale Street, Sparta. 
• Friday, September 11, 2pm – 4:30pm – White County Community Baby Shower hosted by the White County Health Department. Free door prizes and giveaways, free clothing, and a car seat check point. Vendors will be on site as well at the Sparta Civic Center, 514 E Bockman Way 
• Saturday, September 12, 10am – Poker Run to benefit Semper Fi & America’s Fund. Starts and ends at 1938 Social in Sparta. Kickstands up at 10:45am.  
• Saturday, September 12, 12noon – 4pm – Bluegrass Veterinary Clinic Open House and Pet Adoption Event.

• Friday, September 18, 4pm - 7pm -Sparta Green Market Local vendors will be on hand at Metcalf Park for shopping. Businesses around Liberty Square will have extended hours. 
• Friday, September 18, 7pm - Bluegrass on the Square at Sparta Amphitheater 
• Friday, September 18, 4pm – 8pm – Monthly Art Walk with ArtSparta in Downtown Sparta.  
• September 18 – 20. Fall Market at Northfield Vineyards, 515 Cemetery Rd, Sparta. Three days of vendors, food trucks, boutiques, artisans, crafters, music, and fun. Free admission and parking. 
• September 19 - 20, 10am – 7pm – Sunflower Festival at McCulley’s Amazin’ Acres 
• Saturday, September 19, 12pm – 4pm – Jeep Meet & Greet at Chestnut Oaks Farm Store and Kitchen 
• Saturday, September 19, 5pm – 8pm – Senator Paul Bailey’s Fifth Annual Cowboy Cookout at Duck Pond Manor. This family friendly event is free and open to the public, although RSVPs are requested. 
• Thursday, September 24, 11:30am – Ribbon Cutting for Mainsprings Communication with the Sparta-White County Chamber of Commerce 
• Thursday, September 24, 6pm - Sparta Rotary Club Annual BBQ at Duck Pond Manor 
• Friday, September 25 - The Sparta-White County Chamber Annual Golf Tournament is back, and we can't wait to see you on the course for a day of great golf, networking, and community fun. Registration will open SOON.  
• Thursday, October 1, 5:30pm - White County High School Homecoming Parade.
• Saturday, October 10, 10am – 8pm - Liberty Square Lester Flatt Celebration in Downtown Sparta. Enjoy a day of Bluegrass, crafts, classic cars, and food.

• Saturday, October 24, 11am – 1pm – Walking with a Purpose, Suicide Awareness Walk 2026 at South Carter Street Park in Sparta. 
• Wednesday, October 28 – Life Church Sparta Community Fall Festival 
• Friday, October 30, 4pm – 8pm – Sparta-White County Chamber of Commerce Trunk or Treat. 117 East Bockman Way
