Special Games to hold Friday fundraiser

Is there anything better to warm your heart on a hot summer day than an ice-cold glass of lemonade for a good cause?

You'll get your chance to do just that Friday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at McMinnville Special Games' Lemonade & Homemade Baked Goods Sale held at 225 Garfield St.

"Our special friends are raising money for the McMinnville Special Games 'Go Fund,' which helps sponsor their exciting day trips around town," MSG Executive Director Holly McBride said. "They truly look forward to these outings and take so much pride in earning the way there."

To help earn their way, MSG members will be serving up tasty treats and lemonade thanks to donations from locals providing delicious wrapped treats, pies, cakes and more. The public is encouraged to come with an empty tummy and a full wallet.
