Paul Bailey has served the people of Tennessee’s 15th Senate District since 2014, representing communities across the Upper Cumberland, including Cumberland, Jackson, Putnam, Smith, Van Buren, and White counties. A lifelong resident of the area, he brings a strong conservative voice to the General Assembly, grounded in his faith, his commitment to the Constitution and his support for pro-life and pro-jobs policies.
A farmer and small business owner, Senator Bailey understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities facing Tennessee families, job creators and the agricultural community. He is the owner of Charles Bailey Trucking, Inc., a respected transportation company with more than 40 years of industry experience. Under his leadership, the company has built a reputation for reliability, high-quality equipment and customer-focused service, values that mirror his approach to public service.
Senator Bailey has been a consistent advocate for economic growth and infrastructure improvements. As former Chairman of the Senate Transportation and Safety Committee, he worked to strengthen Tennessee’s roads and public safety systems. Now serving as Chairman of the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee, he continues to focus on workforce development, improving TennCare and maintaining Tennessee’s reputation as a top state to live and work. His leadership has helped bring thousands of jobs to Senate District 15.
He and his wife, Amy, reside in White County. They are the proud parents of Jordan (Nicole) Bailey, Korry Beth (Tyler) Cole, and Caleb Bailey and are blessed with two grandchildren.
