TDOT Holds Ribbon Cutting at New Bridge Over Clear Creek

The Tennessee Department of Transportation held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Highway 127 in Clarkrange at the new bridge over Clear Creek Thursday morning.

TDOT says work on US 127/SR 28 from near Lowe Road to near Little Road, crossing the Cumberland/Fentress County line, is complete.

The 3.2‑mile, $85.6 million project widened the travel lanes and shoulders, as well as included a new bridge over Clear Creek.

The stretch from north of I-40 to near Potato Farm Road in Cumberland County is also expected to be completed in the near future.

TDOT plans to begin construction on the stretch connecting these segments, near Potato Farm Road all the way to Lowe Road, later this fiscal year.
