One Last Swing for Tiny Tots

The youngest players in the Sparta Youth Baseball and Softball League wrapped up their season Saturday as the Tiny Tots division took the field one final time at the White County Recreational Complex.

From big swings off the tee to smiles rounding the bases, the morning was filled with the kind of moments that make youth sports fun.

The Tiny Tots division focuses less on scores and standings and more on introducing children to the fundamentals of baseball and softball in a fun, encouraging environment. Saturday’s games served as both a celebration of the season and a final chance for families to make memories before summer moves on.

Coaches, volunteers, and parents helped make the season possible, spending weeks teaching the basics of hitting, throwing, fielding, and teamwork to the league’s newest players.
