Trailer lost to fire

A house trailer on Shady Rest Rd. was a complete loss after fire swept through the vacant structure Saturday night.
Multiple fire departments, including volunteers from Campaign-Rock Island, Collins River and North Warren, along Warren County Sheriff's Office deputies and EMS personnel, responded to the blaze at approximately 7:20 p.m. to find the 14x60 structure fully engulfed by flames. The property owner was contacted by authorities to complete a report on the incident.
The roof of the trailer collapsed, and as firefighters began working to quell the blaze, they also fought to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby wooded area behind the home.
The fire was reported to be fully under control by just before 8 p.m. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
