McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wanda Sue Brown, 74, was born July 21, 1952 and died Aug. 18, 2026 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A former bus driver with Warren County School System and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Ella Mae Gibbs Farless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Katherine Bouldin and Carolyn Butcher; brother, Bobby Farless and significant other, Glenn Richardson.

Ms. Brown is survived by daughter, Lisa Weismore of Manchester; son, David (Lori) Brown of McMinnville; grandchildren, Candice (Brian) Terry, Cole (Samantha) Popplewell, Travis Brown, Dillon Brown and Austin Brown; great-grandchildren, Treyton, Ashlyn, Lauryn, Jayden and Jordyn Terry and Aylah, Jackson, Eva, Cameron and Luna Popplewell; brother, J.P. Farless of McMinnville; special niece, Jo Ann McCormick; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and special friend, Jackie Holt.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville with Cole Popplewell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at High’s.
