Just an hour and a half past high noon on Saturday, the White County Warriorettes played in the State Championship game against an old foe in Dyersburg.
This is the third time that the Warriorettes have met with the team from the west in the State Tournament. The first time was the 1992 semi-finals where White County would win 77-71. Fast forward to 2025 Dyersburg defeated the Warriorettes 52-42 in the quarterfinal. Now in 2026 these two State Tournament rivals met for the golden ball.
