My name is Javier Ortiz, and I am proud to call White County home. Since moving to Sparta in 2019, I have made it my mission to be actively involved in the community and support the people who make this county special.

I am a small business owner in downtown Sparta and the owner of 1938 Social, a neighborhood pub focused on bringing people together. Through my business and personal efforts, I have worked closely with local nonprofits and community organizations to raise funds and awareness for important causes throughout White County.

I am engaged to my fiancé Macey, and together we are raising our daughters Stella and Charlee who reminds me every day why it is important to build a stronger future for the next generation.

Long before considering a run for office, I have been actively involved in giving back to our community. I have partnered with organizations such as Special Olympics, P.O.P.S. (Pals of Pooches) supporting the White County Animal Shelter, Extraordinary Popcorn, and other local nonprofits to help raise funds and support families in need.

I decided to run for White County Commissioner for District 2 because I believe in service, transparency, and strong community leadership. I want to ensure that the voices of our residents are heard and that our county continues to grow while maintaining the values that make White County a great place to live.

If elected, I promise to:

  • Listen to the concerns of our community and represent them honestly
  • Support responsible growth while protecting the character of White County
  • Continue working with local organizations to strengthen our community

I believe leadership starts with service, and I will continue working to make White County a place where families, businesses, and future generations can thrive.
