It was a long night for the White County Warriors as they played guests to the defending 2025 State Champion Upperman Bees. It started with a 10-0 run from Upperman thanks to a Ty Cobb dunk which was one of many he would have on the night. Sparta would only score four points in the first frame, and the Warriors couldn't make it interesting after that.

Upperman would go on top of the White County Warriors with a 63-27 final score. Upperman's Colton Johnson led in scoring with 17 points. Ty Cobb was behind him with 16 points.

White County only had four players score on Friday night. It was Mason Steele leading Sparta with 11 points. Cole Sims was behind him with 10 points. Lukas Smith got all four of his points in the first half while Jack Carpenter scored two points in the third quarter.

The Warriors go to 12-3 on the season and start district play 0-1 like their Warriorette counterpart.

White County will welcome the Stone Memorial Panthers to Sparta on Tuesday night. If you can't make it to Roy Sewell Gymnasium for Tuesday's game, you can listen to the radio coverage on 92.7 YERT FM.
