For the past couple of seasons, there hasn’t been much mystery surrounding the White County offense.
The Warriors could run the football — and they could run it well.
Tripp Pinion carried much of that load from the quarterback position before graduating in 2025. Last season, Cole Sims took over as the workhorse, piling up 100-yard games on a near-weekly basis.
Friday night at Soddy Daisy, Sims picked up right where he left off. The senior rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries as White County rolled to a 49-6 season-opening win.
But this time, the Warriors showed they could do a little more.
