Before getting down to business Monday evening, Commission Chairman Derrick Hutchings took a moment to recognize the commissioners who will not be returning after this month's election, thanking them for their service to White County.
The commission also honored outgoing County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson with a proclamation and plaque recognizing his years of service to the county. State Senator Paul Bailey was on hand as well, offering his gratitude for Robinson's leadership and dedication to White County over the years.
Once the recognitions were given, commissioners worked through the remainder of the agenda with little discussion. Every resolution passed, though one had a much closer vote than the rest.
