White County commissioners worked through a lengthy slate of committee meetings Monday night, advancing funding for a new White County Animal Shelter manager while moving several other proposals toward the full commission.

Commissioners also took action involving Cane Hollow Recreation Area, use of the former Central View school by the Sheriff’s Department, residential building codes and a drone program for emergency response.
