PHOTOS: Dirt track action takes over the fair

The dirt was flying Wednesday night at the White County Fair as four-wheelers and motorcycles took over the track for another night of action at the fairgrounds.

Riders battled their way around the dirt track, kicking up clouds of dust as they pushed for position and made their runs toward the finish. Fans got a close-up look at the racing — and, with dirt flying well beyond the track, probably took a little of it home with them, too.

The action on the track was just part of the night. Across the fairgrounds, the carnival was still in full swing with rides, games, food, and plenty of people making their way through the midway.

With the final days of the 2026 White County Fair underway, MSJ–Sparta was there Wednesday night to catch some of the action both on and off the track.
