PHOTOS: Tails, scales and more at the White County Fair

The White County Fair went to the dogs Sunday — and the cats, the feathers, the scales and just about everything in between.

The annual Pet Show brought plenty of competitors to the ring, with seven purebred dog categories along with designer breed and mixed breed divisions. The seven purebred winners then competed for Grand Champion.

Dogs weren’t the only ones getting their turn. The show also included a cat division, novelty division and scales and feathers division, bringing an assortment of pets — and plenty of personality — to the fairgrounds.

Showmanship classes gave juniors, adults and those 55 and older a chance to step into the ring, while two costume classes — one for ages 13 and under and another for ages 14 and up — added even more fun to the afternoon.
