The White County swim team finished up their season with some wins on Friday night as they competed against teams from Cookeville, Upperman, Lebanon and Wilson Central high schools.
The 200-meter Medley relay team, consisting of Charlotte Lee, Alexis Jones, Bristol Faust, and Katelyn Blakeman, swam a season best on their way to a first-place finish. The 200-meter Freestyle relay team also took a first-place win with Blakeman and Lee joined by Natalie Wilson and Mae Whitley for the event.
In the individual races, there was plenty to celebrate as well. Faust, a sophomore, won the 100-meter backstroke with Wilson right behind her in second as she swam a personal best. Faust also took home second in the 100-meter butterfly.
Whitley, a freshman, dropped nine seconds off her time in the 200-meter Freestyle to finish in second place. Jones had a personal best in the 50-meter breaststroke event and finished in second place in the 100-meter breaststroke as the senior competed for the final time as a Warriorette.
While Lee and fellow freshman Lilly Willis didn’t make the medal stand, they both had a great meet. Lee dropped five seconds off her time in the 100-meter breaststroke while she and Willis both put up personal bests in the 50-meter freestyle.
