A man serving community supervision for life is facing a new charge after a drug screen showed methamphetamine and amphetamine in his system.

The supervision conditions specifically prohibited illegal drug use and required him to submit to testing as directed. According to the warrant, an Aug. 4 urine screen came back positive and was later confirmed through laboratory testing.
