The White County Board of Education voted Thursday night to begin the process of hiring a company to conduct a districtwide facilities infrastructure audit. 

School Board Chair Bob Young said the district is looking for professional advice as it plans future building and maintenance projects. Many of the most urgent repairs have already been completed, and district leaders now want guidance on what should come next.
