Head coach Topher Wiles said the performance reflects the steady growth of the program.

“Success is a process,” Wiles said. “Over the last five years, White County tennis has evolved from battling for every point against Van Buren to earning a 7-0 clean sweep for both the men’s and women’s teams. This growth is a testament to the investments of our Warrior tennis community.”

Wiles noted the team’s overall dominance, pointing to a combined 96-6 game score as a sign of how far the program has come.

“Our 96-6 game score total reflects a significant leap in skill and court strategy,” he said. “While the entire team performed well, juniors Ethan Wiles and Solomon Hawkins stood out, each with a dominant 32-5 scoring margin. It was a great night for the program, with every varsity and JV player contributing to our first District 6A victory of the season.”

White County will return to the courts Wednesday (March 25) at home against Sequatchie County, with matches set to begin at 2 p.m. at White County High School.
