White County turned in a strong all-around showing on the track Thursday night, mixing event wins with a steady stream of podium finishes and top-five efforts across both the girls and boys lineups.

Leading the way were a trio of event wins on the girls side, where the Warriorettes continued to build on momentum from earlier in the week. Natalie West set the tone in the sprints, blazing to a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.48. It marked another step forward for West, who has steadily trimmed time off her races this season and continues to emerge as one of White County’s most reliable point scorers.

In the distance events, Kayce Wright delivered one of the night’s most complete performances, claiming the 800-meter run in 2:50.33. Wright’s control of the race down the stretch separated her from the field and added another win to a growing list of strong outings this week. In the field events, Miya League made it a clean sweep of first-place finishes for White County with a winning leap of 14 feet, 11.75 inches in the long jump.

Beyond those wins, the Warriorettes added multiple podium finishes that helped round out the team performance. The 4x800-meter relay team turned in a second-place finish with a time of 12:03.00, while Jayden Breeding took second in the discus with a throw of 69-6. Breeding also added a fifth-place finish in the shot put, giving her a pair of top-five marks on the night. Addy Cocke and Arianna Knupp each contributed fifth-place finishes in the 200-meter dash and 800-meter run, respectively, continuing a trend of depth across the girls lineup.

On the boys side, White County found success in both the sprints and field events, highlighted by a pair of third-place finishes from Isaac Littles. Littles reached the podium in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.97 and followed that up with a strong showing in the long jump, clearing 19-7 to secure another top-three finish. His versatility continues to stand out as the Warriors look for consistent contributors across multiple events.

The Warriors also saw a fourth-place finish from the 4x100-meter relay team, just missing the podium, and a handful of additional top-five performances. Andrew Price led the way in the 100-meter dash with a fifth-place finish and a new PR of 11.90, while Kason Price added a sixth-place effort in the 800-meter run. Across the board, White County athletes consistently placed themselves in scoring positions, even when just outside the podium, showing improvement in both times and overall competitiveness compared to earlier meets this week.

While the meet featured standout individual victories, it was the depth of finishes — particularly the number of athletes landing inside the top five — that underscored a productive night for White County as the team continues to trend upward heading deeper into the season.
