White County authorities arrested two individuals Thursday after a traffic stop along Highway 111 led to a brief foot pursuit and the discovery of suspected narcotics.
According to officials, on March 5, 2026, deputies and other White County units were notified by Captain Theiss of a Flock camera hit on the South Bunker Hill camera indicating a vehicle traveling inbound into White County. Dispatch confirmed the vehicle registration and advised that the driver, identified as Timothy Loftis, had an active warrant through the Cookeville Police Department for theft.
Sheriff Steve Page later observed the vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 111 near the Royal Inn and conducted a traffic stop. Shortly after initiating the stop, Sheriff Page advised that one subject had fled on foot in the area near McDonald’s.
