Both the Warriors’ 3D Archery team and their bullseye team were in action this weekend, bringing plenty of hardware back to White County.  

Friday night saw the @hite County 3D team head to Stewart Creek for the 3D Creek Winter Classic. Four Warrriors received individual recognition after the shoot. In the middle school division, Sami Benson was the big winner, finishing first among all female shooters. Kaiden Young took the fifth-place honors in the middle school boys' division while Justin Cannon, second place, and Cannon Dildine, fourth place, both shot well in the high school division.  

Saturday saw the Warrior Archery team head to Prescott South in Cookeville for the Bullseyes with Bulldogs tournament. White County High School took first place overall while six archers received individual medals. Leeah Paul was the top female shooter with Jenna McCoy right behind her in second place. Adisyn Mace and Addie King placed fourth and fifth as the Warriorettes came close to a podium sweep. On the boys’ side, it was Justin Cannon who came out on top with Drake Goodwin placing third.  

Not to be outdone, the middle school team placed third overall in their division with Sami Benson getting another first-place medal in the girls' division. Kaiden Young shot well enough to bring home another medal as well, placing third among all middle school boys.  

Next up for the White County Archery team is a tournament in Van Buren County. The tournament, scheduled for January 23 and 24, will consist of both 3D and bullseye shooting giving the Warriors multiple opportunities to add to their trophy case.
