Back on January 9, the White County Warriors were run out of the gym in Baxter where they lost to Upperman 63-27. Fast forward three weeks and the Warriors were the ones throwing the first punch.

Sparta outscored Baxter 21-12 by the end of the first quarter; however, thanks to Upperman's Ty Cobb, the Bees took the second frame and went into halftime up 27-26.

The second half would belong to the Bees as well, and Upperman would go on to defeat the upset-hungry Warriors 64-49. The Bees second win over the Warriors gave them the season sweep.

Ty Cobb led Baxter in scoring as he dropped 27 points, thanks in part to four three pointers. Colton Johnson had 14 points for the Bees, while Jack Torrence and Joseph Maynard rounded out the top scorers with 8 points and 4 points apiece.

For Sparta, it was Cole Sims leading the way once again in scoring as he knocked down 21 points. Jack Carpenter and Mason Steele had 12 points apiece. Lukas Smith would go on to have four points while Tucker Pinion added three to White County's score sheet.

Sparta drops to 14-6 on the season and to just 1-5 in district play. White County takes a trip to Crossville for two district games next week with a match up at Stone Memorial on Tuesday and then a game against Cumberland County on Friday.
