With just two nights remaining in the White County Youth Baseball and Softball League tournament, several championship matchups are now set while other divisions will decide their finalists Thursday night.

Wednesday's schedule came after league officials were forced to reshuffle the tournament bracket due to field conditions caused by Monday's rain. The decision to play on a Wednesday evening prompted concerns from some families who regularly attend church services. In response, the league partnered with Life Church and Golden Mountain Ministries to offer a community-wide worship service at the ballpark before the games. The service allowed families to maintain their Wednesday worship tradition while still giving players an opportunity to compete in the rescheduled tournament contests.

In Competitive T-Ball, Jaxito Burrito advanced to the semifinals with a win over Parker Metal and will now face Doyle Church of the Nazarene. On the opposite side of the bracket, The Way Church earned a victory over Sparta Heating and Air Conditioning to move on to a Thursday showdown with Warrior Wash. Both semifinal games are scheduled for Thursday, with the winners advancing to Friday's championship game.

The Coach Pitch Boys division is down to its final game after National Guard, the tournament's No. 2 seed, defeated Piney Creek. National Guard will now take on Three Rivers at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with the tournament championship on the line.

One of the tournament's biggest surprises came in the Minor Boys division, where fourth-seeded Turney Financial knocked off top-seeded Tru North to earn a spot in the championship game. Turney will face Meeks Construction, which advanced with a win over Nate Card Construction. The championship game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.

In Minor Girls action, Powerhouse Powerwash moved into the semifinals by defeating YERT Nutrition and will face Frank's in one of Thursday's semifinal contests. Tennessee Septic also advanced with a win over Uzin Fusion Metalworks and will now meet Reco in the other semifinal matchup. That game features the division's second- and third-place regular season finishers and is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Major Girls championship game is officially set after Wednesday night's action. Calfkiller Brewing Company defeated Premier Collision, while BCX earned a victory over Robbie Porter. Those results create a championship showdown between the division's top two regular-season teams. Calfkiller and BCX will meet Friday at 5:30 p.m. on Field 2 for the tournament title.

The Major Boys division did not play Wednesday night but returns to action Thursday with both semifinal games on the schedule. Regular-season champion Whitson Lawncare will face fourth-seeded Spar Gas, while second-seeded Sonic takes on third-seeded Toro Nutrition. The winners will advance to Friday's championship game.
