A crash on Board Valley Road Tuesday morning sent one driver to the hospital after a driver lost control while navigating a curve, according to a report from the White County Sheriff’s Office.
The two-vehicle crash happened April 21, 2026, at approximately 9:36 a.m. along Board Valley Road, about 73 feet north of Weaver Road, in a residential area outside Sparta city limits. Deputies arrived on scene at 9:50 a.m. to investigate the crash involving a 2014 Chevrolet CRZ driven by Harlon McKinley Johnson, 62, of Cookeville, and a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Allen Ray Cooper, 60, of Sparta.
