Celebrating Moms

Local radio stations are teaming up with several small businesses to offer a Mother’s Day prize package, giving residents a chance to celebrate moms across the community.

The “Mother’s Day Giveaway” is being organized across multiple station platforms, including WBMC, Star 107, WOW Country and 92.1 The One.

The prize package includes items from participating local businesses Southern Traditions, Genieves and Lemon, highlighting a mix of gifts aimed at celebrating mothers with both practical and sentimental value.

Community members can enter by engaging with the giveaway post on participating station social media pages. To qualify, entrants are asked to follow the page, like and share the post, and submit a photo with their mother in the comments.

Participants are also encouraged to include their mother’s name along with a short message explaining why she deserves to win.

Winners will be determined based on engagement, with the comment receiving the most reactions in each market selected as the winner.

Organizers say the goal is to spotlight local families while also supporting area businesses during the Mother’s Day season.

One winner will be chosen in each market, with announcements scheduled for the morning of Friday, May 8.
